Extreme Programming

Extreme Programming (XP) is one of the most well known agile software development methodology. It differs from traditional methodologies primarily in placing a higher value on adaptability than on predictability. We believe that ongoing changes to requirements are a natural, inescapable and desirable aspect of software development projects. Being able to adapt to changing requirements at any point is a more realistic and practical approach rather than attempting to define all requirements at the beginning of a project.

We find this methodology to be more responsive to customer needs than traditional methods. It leads to better quality software and shorter development life-cycles. It is especially useful when the solution being implemented is itself evolving, when some development is required to discover unforeseen implementation problems, and when experimental technologies are involved. Read more about Extreme Programming at Wikipedia and at http://www.extremeprogramming.org/.

An aspect of Extreme Programming that is often overlooked is that it promotes human interactions and fosters cross-departmental relationships, thus creating an enjoyable work environment.
